HOWDY! Welcome to Rawah Ranch, a special place you can call home, 8400 feet high in the Rockies, just south of the Colorado/Wyoming border. Since 1950 Rawah has been operated as a guest ranch. With a guest capacity of 32, we maintain a small, intimate Western ranch setting while providing our guests from all over the country and the world a "best ever" vacation experience.
Each Monday morning at our staff meeting we review comments left by the previous week?s guests. Though the comments vary from week to week, EVERY week the "message" (one which our team takes great pride in) is the same ? Rawah has the most friendly, conscientious, welcoming, professional, detail-oriented, fun staff they've ever been around, anywhere. If you feel you are the type of person who can help keep these compliments pouring in, we?d sure like to hear from you!
We?re currently looking for a few more great folks to join our 2008 team. We look for people who are honest, friendly, and conscientious; who are willing to work hard and to learn our methods; who operate equally well when working alone or as part of a team; who are enthusiastic and have a good sense of humor; who enjoy interacting with guests; who like to have fun; who will get a great sense of satisfaction from providing a first-rate vacation to our guests. In short, each crew member truly is part of the ranch host "family." Our first guests arrive June 10, and our last guests will depart September
15. Applicants must be available for our entire guest season, and should plan
on arriving well before our opening and leaving the ranch for the season about
October 1. (We may be able to be a bit flexible for the right candidate!).
At Rawah, each staff member works 5.5 days per week, receives a monthly salary and free room and board (crew members eat the same meals as the guests - our guests always complain that "the food is too good"). During their time off we invite and encourage staff members to take advantage of all the great things Rawah has to offer: Superior riding, unlimited hiking, excellent fly fishing, whitewater rafting, camping, or just relaxing in our beautiful, unspoiled surroundings. Also, we have many evenings with entertainment, and we like to have our gang around for that too. Positions still available for our 2008 season:
